This last week has been a week of successes.
Changed my exercise routine and followed my SMART goals and am down four pounds.
Was able to fit into two pairs of jeans that I couldn’t fit into last year.
Started Girls on the Run at my school and empowered young girls to live healthy lives and have a positive attitude about themselves.
I went from 5 cups of coffee a day to one or none a day!
Tried hummus for the first time at our exercise talk and love it!
My #1 supporter, my husband, said “you’re looking thinner.”
Even though I am so proud of myself for these accomplishments, I know the journey continues. There will be days that are hard but I have to remember these successes. My next goal is in two weeks. I will be running the Blackberry Farm 5K. I ran it last year, and this year my goal is to run it in a quicker time. I will keep everyone updated. Mayra
